Field Services
The Division of Field Services is integral to the mission and primary functions of the Wyoming Department of Corrections through effective and efficient supervision of probationers and parolees within communities. Such offender management contributes to Wyoming’s quality of life, promoting safer communities, and providing opportunities for change using research-based best practices. The division’s offender management targets offenders’ specific needs and risks leading to criminal behavior and provides services and programs to meet the unique challenges faced by offenders transitioning from prison to communities and those remaining within communities under supervision.
The division’s other duties include providing investigative reports for courts and other release granting authorities and developing partnerships with victims, community members, and public and private agencies to better meet the department’s mission in a meaningful and cost-effective manner.
